Kursbaustein 3, mal wieder anders - Workshop 3, another look

Meinen Kursbaustein 3 Schal mit dickem Garn und 5er Nadeln habe ich auch endlich fotografieren können - ist schon spannend, wie das original gleiche Tuch durch andere Pausen und Umrandung und vor allem die Garnauswahl ganz anders wirkt!

My Workshop 3 shawl with worsted weight yarn and US8 needles is finished, and we finally had weather to take some photos. It's amazing how the identical design with just a few changes in the pauses and finishing and of course different types of yarn seems to be completely different!

 Das ist der neue Schal aus Mountain Meadow Wool, eines meiner US-Souvenirs. Das Garn LARAMIE ist handgefärbt, 196 yards = ca. 180 m/ 3,5 oz = ca. 100g, 100% Mountain Merino®. Ich habe die Farben Lupine und Aqua verwendet. Die Ursprungsbesitzer der Wolle leben auf der The Camino Family's Kid Ranch, Buffalo, Wyoming.

Gekauft habe ich das Garn bei Susan von The Stitchin' Den (www.thestitchinden.com).

Ursprünglich sollte das Tuch Demo-Material für meinen Live-Workshop bei The Stitchin' Den in Estes Park, Colorado, werden - dieser Kurs scheint aber nicht zustande zu kommen, zumindest bekommen wir keine Reaktionen auf unsere Mails, seit es um die konkrete Planung geht ....

Schade, ich habe mich schon auf ein Wiedersehen mit den netten Mädels dort gefreut! Aber wir haben genug andere Angebote für unsere Live-Tour im September in den USA!

This is the new shawl made of Mountain Meadow Wool, one of my US souvenirs. The yarn LARAMIE is hand dyed, 196 yards/3.5 oz, 100% Mountain Merino®. I used the colors Aqua and Lupine. The first owners of the wool live at The Camino Family's Kid Ranch, Buffalo, Wyoing.

Originally this shawl should become demonstration material for my Live Class at the Stitchin' Den - but this class seems not to come about, we do not get any answers to our e-mails since we started planning concretely ......
It's too bad, I was really looking forward to meeting those nice girls again! But we do have enough possibilities for our live tour in September through part of the US!
