Gaby's Vernissage 2

Da ich von Freitag bis Sonntag auf einem wunderschönen Stricktreffen war (mehr dazu demnächst), heute erst der Bericht von der Vernissage zur Ausstellung der Moerser Palette - zu dieser Künstlervereinigung gehört auch "unsere Gaby Auerbach".

From Friday to Sunday, I had a wonderful Stricktreff (I'll tell you more within the next days), therefore the photos from the vernissage of the exhibition of the "Moerser Palette" have lasted up to now - "our Gaby" belongs to this artist's society.

Und da man über Kunst und Geschmack bekanntlich nicht streiten kann, hier einfach nur ein Überblick über die ausgestellten Werke.
Eine nette Anekdote muss ich aber unbedingt erzählen: 3 Frauen, die bewundernd vor Gabys Bild "Over the Rainbow" standen, die skizzierten Noten und Notenlinien auch als solche erkannten und sich anhand dessen die Melodie erarbeiteten, einfach toll, wie sie das Lied dann laut sangen!

Please let the photos affect you!  Gaby's knitted wall picture certainly are the absolute highlight of this exhibition!
And because you cannot argue about art and taste, I present you just an overview of the exhibited pieces of art.
One funny anecdote I have to tell you: 3 women stood admiring in front of Gaby's picture "Over the Rainbow. They recognized the satves and the musical notes and begang to sing aloud - and they really worked it out and sang "Over the Rainbow"!

Gaby konnte an der Ausstellungseröffnung leider nicht teilnehmen, da sie sehr krank ist und am Donnerstag noch in Essen in der Strahlenklinik lag. Das liebevolle offene Schreiben der Ausstellunsgveranstalter, auf dem jeder Gaby gute Wünsche senden konnte, findet ihr auch unter den Fotos - eine tolle Idee!
"Herzensangelegenheiten" ist der Titel der Ausstellung - liebe Gaby, uns ist es auch eine Herzensangelegenheit, dass es dir wieder wenigstens etwas besser geht!!!!!!

 Gaby herself could not attend the vernissage. She is very ill and spent this day in the Radiation Clinic in Essen. The caring open letter of the organizers of the exhibition you can find within the photos. Everyone could send her good wishes, what a wonderful idea!
"Affairs of the heart" is the title of the exhibition - dear Gaby, it is our affair of the heart that you feel at least a bit better!!!!!!!!
