Und noch einer - And another one

Da ist sie, die glitzernde Scrubby Eule!
Weil der Pinguin so begeistert von meiner Freundin bestaunt wurde, habe ich ihr eine Eule gemacht - auch mit diesem Scrubby Glitzergarn und in der "Ganzjahresversion" mit Schal und und Mütze zum Abnehmen.

There it is, the glittering scrubby owl!
My friend was so excited about the penguin that I had made, that I decided to make an owl for her - with Scrubby glittering yarn and in the "all year around" version with removable scarf and hat.

 Angefangen habe ich nach der Anleitung für eine African Flower Eule - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/betoto-the-little-african-flower-owl-phone-cover. Um dann feststellen zu müssen, dass das eine Mini-Eule geworden wäre -also habe ich den Anfang und die  Konstruktion aus der Anleitung übernommen und die Fünf- und Sechsecke selbst ordentlich vergrößert. Jetzt ist die Eule ca. 20 cm hoch, das ist als Badeschwamm brauchbar.

I started with a pattern for an African Flower owl - https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/betoto-the-little-african-flower-owl-phone-cover. Only to see that this would become a mini owl - so I stuck to the pattern for the start and the construction and enlarged the pentagons and hexagons quite a lot. Now the owl is approx. 20 cm high, a suitable size for a bathing sponge.

Natürlich habe ich den Zeitaufwand auch hier wieder gnadenlos unterschätzt - nach 6 Stunden hatte ich mal wieder eine Katze voll Einzelteilchen.
Patty findet das vollkommen okay, wenn ich Sachen auf ihr ablege, um Fotos zu machen - Hauptsache, das haarige Sofakissen kann neben mir liegen!

As usually I understimated the time to make this one for quite a lot - after 6 hours of crocheting I had a cat full of single parts.
Patty doesn't mind to be a holder for my knitting or crochet as photo background - my hairy couch potatoe just wants to sit beside me :)!

Zusammengesetzt - irgendwas fehlt mir da!

All assembled - there is something missing to my opinion!

Also habe ich die Anleitung für die Pinguin-Füße von Dadade genommen und mit einer zusätzlichen Picot-Reihe Krallen hinzugefügt.

So I took the penguin feet of the Dadade pattern and added claws with an additional picot row.

Noch ein Schal um den Hals, und die Anleitung für die Mütze ist wieder aus der Pinguin-Anleitung - leicht abgewandelt mit einer abschließenden Runde Büschelstäbchen in weißem Glitzer-Irisee.

Then I added a scarf around the neck, and the hat is made after the pattern by Dadade's penguin, with a few little changes, the last round is bushel trebles with irisee glittering white.

Und jetzt bin ich gespannt, ob sie Petra genau so gut gefällt wie mir!

And now I'm excited whether Petra likes this one as much as I like it!
