Updates 2

Das Update zu Kursbaustein 1 ist fertig. Da war nämlich am Ende der vierten Strophe noch ein Fehler drin (danke, Janine!) - vor dem Strophenende sind wir ja am linken Rand, deshalb wird NICHT MIT DOPPELMASCHE, sondern ganz normal gewendet und zurück an den Rand gestrickt. Bitte "Doppelmasche und" beim Strophenende durchstreichen :)!

Wer den Kursbaustein über Ravelry gekauft hat, bekommt eine  Update-Mitteilung mit Link und kann sich die Errata runterladen, wer ab jetzt den Kursbaustein 1 runterlädt, hat schon die korrigierte Version.

The English version of Workshop 1 didn't need an update. I had already corrected the mistake there and forgot to do the correction in the German version.
All Workshop Errata will be collected on this page in our Ravelry group.

Als nächstes stand dann an, die Homepage Swing-Stricken komplett zu überarbeiten, da das wordpress theme völlig zerschossen war, schon länger keine Bilder-Uploads mehr möglich waren, und als ich jetzt die Links zu den Errata nicht ändern konnte, war es dann wohl fällig! Nach dem update des Themes waren zwar noch alle Beiträge da, aber die Seite sah dann doch gänzlich anders aus, musste also völlig neu eingerichtet werden .... und mit Wordpress kenn ich mich nun mal nur ganz wenig aus ....
Dieser Mist kostet Zeit und Nerven!

Next was my German Swing-Stricken Homepage. The wordpress theme didn't work any longer, I cannot upload pictures for quite a time. When I tried to change the Errata links of the Swing-Socken, this didn't work as well. So it finally was time to update this homepage! When I updated the theme, all my articles and pages still were there, but they looked quite different. So I had to arrange all the page settings anew .... and I am definitely a beginner working with wordpress ...
This *+#@ costs such a lot of time and nerves!

Die Updates zu Kursbaustein 3 sind noch nicht fertig - ich warte noch auf die Rückmeldung von Freundinnen, die es noch einmal überprüfen, bevor ich alle Workshops ändere. Spätestens nach den Ostertagen ist aber auch das fertig!

The updates of Workshop 3 are not finished yet  - I am waiting for friends to proof-read again, then I can change all the documents ..... This will be done latest after the  Easter Holidays, I promise!

Das Sockenbuch geht in die vierte oder fünfte Auflage, deshalb stand dann noch ein langes Telefonat an über die notwendigen Änderungen - ich bin ja mal gespannt, ob ALLE Errata diesmal verbessert werden :)!

The 4th or 5th edition of my sock book is due. So I had a long phone call with the tech editor about all the errata that have to be corrected. I am really thrilled whether they will correct all faults this time :)!

 

EIGENTLICH schreibe ich ja seit Tagen an der zweiten englischen Workshop-Socke, in der die Sockenkonstruktion mit dem Einsatz aus quergestrickten Strophen ausführlich erklärt wird ..... schießlich will Brigitta morgen mit dem Teststrick anfangen! Über 50 Schritt-für-Schritt-Fotos habe ich schon bearbeitet, jetzt fehlt "nur noch" der Text dazu - na ja, es reicht ja, wenn ich immer eine Strophe vor dem Teststrick bin :)! Diese Socke wird nur auf Englisch erscheinen, der Workshop ist wesentlich ausführlicher als im Sockenbuch.
Und damit mach ich jetzt auch weiter!!!!
Und zur Entspannung darf ich dann später an der Jacke weiterstricken - davon gibt's dann morgen neue Fotos!


Actually I am writing on the second English Swingy Feet Workshop for days now .... The first workshop has given an introduction to heels and that part of Swing-Knitting that we need for the Swingy Feet. This second workshop will show the construction and the set-in part in Swing-Knitting step by step. I should hurry a bit, Brigitta will start the test-knitting tomorrow ....

More than 50 photos I have already edited, it's just the written text that is still missing :). Okay, it will be sufficient to be one stanza in front of her test-knit :)! This sock will be published only in English, the workshop will be a lot more detailed than the German sock book.

And now IIll go on writing on it!!!!

Afterwards I will be allowed to relax :) - so I will go on knitting the round cardigan - I'll show you tomorrow!
