Mein kleiner Vogelschwarm - my little bird flock

Meinen "Dreaming Mallard". die träumende Stockente, habe ich fertig - auf Ravelry habe ich sie auch schon gezeigt. Zitron Royal Alpaka (320g) mit Zitron Unisono (145g) machen den Dreambird von Nadita zwar ziemlich schwer, aber er ist ein tolles, kuscheliges großes Tuch mit 19 Federn geworden.
Das Zitron Royal Alpaka habe ich dabei zum ersten Mal verstrickt und muss meine Erfahrung damit natürlich teilen: Erst war ich sehr unsicher mit dem Garn, das ich bei 100m/50 g glatt rechts mit 3,5 verstrickt habe. Es sah ziemlich unordentlich aus, obwohl ich doch sonst gleichmäßig stricke. Aber nach dem Vollbad flauscht es wunderschön auf und gibt ein total gleichmäßiges Strickbild! Könnte doch eines meiner Lieblingsgarne werden :).

Zitron Royal Alpaka I knitted for the first time, and I want to share my experience with this yarn. I first felt a bit doubtful about the yarn, I knitted it with US4 in Stockinette stitch. And it looked quite untidy though I normally knit very evenly. But it fluffs up beautifully after having a bath, and then the stitches are very tidy! Could become one of my favorites ....

Und das ist das Vögelchen, an dem ich gerade arbeite: Superweiches 100%  Kid-Mohair (gibt's ab Herbst bei Zitron, ein Kid Mohair, das mit 19 Mikron so fein ist, dass es nicht kratzt und nicht mit Seide verblendet werden muss, um weicher zu werde!) mit ich glaub 1400 m/100g - ein Nichts von einem Faden für den Körper, der mit 3,5 kraus rechts gestrickt wunderschön aufflauscht. Ob es diesen wunderschönen Farbverlauf mit sanften Übergängen so geben wird, ist noch nicht raus - Ich bin dafür!!!! Das ist der Probestrang, der bisher einzige davon, den ich zu 2/3 abgestaubt habe, um ihn probe zu stricken :)!
Kombiniert hab ich's mit Zitron Traumseide, die ich doppelt genommen habe, um den Federn mehr Substanz zu geben. Zu dem Garn muss ich nicht viel sagen, es trägt seinen Namen einfach zu Recht!
Bei diesem Vogel habe ich diverse Veränderungen gemacht, ausgehend von Naditas Dreambird, so wachsen die Federn gleichmäßig an, werden dann gleich groß bleiben und am Ende wieder kleiner werden.

This is the birdy I am just working on. Wonderfully soft 100% kid mohair with about 1400 m/100g, a gorgeous Nothing of a yarn that fluffs up to a feather light fabric knitted with  US 4 in garter stitch. The yarn will be available by autumn, a kid mohair with 19 micron that is so fine that it doesn't itch and needn't be blended with silk for more softness. The color flow is very smooth, no hard transitions. Whether this color will be made isn't decided yet - I wish it will! This is the spinning sample, the one and only up to now, and I got the most of it to test it!
I combined this dream yarn with Zitron Traumseide, 100% mulberry silk. I knit the feathers with two strands of Traumseide to give them more substance. I need not tell you more about this yarn, it has it's name Dream Silk for true!
With this bird, I changed Nadita's pattern quite a lot. The feathers grow in size continually, then a few feathers will have equal size, then they will become smaller to the end.

Nummer 3 habe ich in Amerika angefangen zu stricken.Auch Zitron Garne, nämlich das neue Farbverlaufsgarn mit sanften Übergängen, das aus gefärbtem Vlies gesponnen wird. Das Garn wird es auch zum Herbst geben, 100 % Merino extrafine, traumhaft zu stricken. Auch hier konnte ich die Probekone abstauben, um sie zu verstricken :). Kombiniert habe ich es mit Zeitlos, gestrickt mit 5er Nadel. Diesen Vogel werde ich wahrscheinlich zu einer Jacke verarbeiten.


Number 3 I started in the US. Zitron yarns as well. The new variegated yarn with soft color transitions, that is spun of dyed fleece - the yarn will be availabe by autumn. 100% Merino extrafine, a dream to knit! I got the prototype yarn cone for testing :). I combined it with Zitron Zeitlos and knitted it on a 5 mm needle. I think it will become a cardigan.

Und auf alle drei Vögelchen werde ich gut aufpassen, dass sie mir am Montag, wenn ich den Live Workshop bei Zitron zum Dreambird gebe, nicht wegfliegen!
