Frühlings-Gefieder - Spring Plumage

Während ich denn so eine blöde und höchst überflüssige Grippe aushampele, kann ich wenigstens wieder etwas stricken - und passend zum "Frühling" stricke ich mir eine schönes warmes Gefieder.
Wer genau hinguckt, erkennt Elemente des Dreambird von Nadita - die Federn und die Konstruktion mit Dreiecken.
Gerade war dann der spannende Moment - passt und sitzt mein quer gestrickter eingesetzter Ärmel, an dem ich stundenlang rumgerechnet habe? Freu! Er passt, er sitzt, und er ist weder zu lang noch zu kurz!
Nur schade, dass ich den 2. Ärmel nur halb stricken kann, weil ich von der schwarzen Zeitlos nicht genug Material habe .....

While I'm still recovering from an irritating and most uncalled-for flue, I can knit again at least. Fitting this "spring" with lots of snow and cold, I am knitting on a warm plumage.
Who watches it closely, will see elements of Nadita's Dreambird - the feathers and the construction with triangles. 


I just had a most thrilling situation - the first arm was ready und I finally got to know whether this thing I spent hours on calculating really fits. Yes, it does! I'm so happy! It fits, and it is neither too short or too long or too wide or too narrow!
It's too bad that I don't have enough wool to finish the second arm, I'll need another skein of Zeitlos ...
And when my Spring Plumage is finished, I'll show you proper photos and I'll write a pattern instruction!
