Fast fertig zum Abflug - Nearly ready for Take-off

Alles ist verpackt bzw. hat seinen reservierten Platz im Koffer oder Handgepäck.
Jetzt läuft gerade eine große Datensicherung auf zwei externen Festplatten, eine davon werde ich für alle Fälle mitnehmen. Der iPod lädt, der eReader lädt, der Kamera-Akku lädt. Online eingecheckt, Bordkarten und alle Papiere ausgedruckt, Unterwegs-Strickzeug zusammengeräumt, Zivilisation bereitgelegt (die kommt erst morgen früh in den Koffer).

Everything is packed or has a reserved space in my suitcase or the hand luggage.
I'm just doing a data back-up onto two external HDDs, one of them will make the journey with me. The i-Pod is getting charged, the eReader is getting charged, the camera is getting charged. Made the online check-in, printed the boarding passes and all the other papers. Prepared my on-the-way knitting, prepared my toilet bag (will fit into the suitcase tomorrow morning).

Meine Unterwegs-Schuhe zum zweiten Mal aus dem Garten eingesammelt, wohin Linda sie verschleppt hatte - jetzt stehen sie auf dem Schrank.

Und das steht heute noch an: Update Amano-Rock (Buch-Projekt) fertigmachen, Theorieteil vom Buch weiterbearbeiten (da fehlen noch 4 Fotoserien mit Beschreibung), alles nochmal kontrollieren, Katzenklos saubermachen, von Kiki und Ben verabschieden und nochmal alles um meine Fellnasen erklären. Diesen Blogbeitrag schreiben, in der Ravelry-Gruppe was schreiben.....

Fetched my shoes I'll wear tomorrow from the garden for the second time - Linda loves to decorate the lawn with my shoes - now they stand on a cupboard.

This is my plan for the rest of today: Update Amano Skirt (book project) pattern, work on with the theory part of the book (missing 4 more photo series and descriptions), control everything once again, cleaning the cat litter boxes, say goodbye to Kiki and Ben and explain again everything about my furry noses. Write this blog entry and a special entry in the Ravelry group ....

Und das habe ich auch dabei: Einen riesengroßer Koffer voll von guten Wünschen! Danke an alle, die mir so lieb in Mails, über Ravelry, über Facebook, über skype .... geschrieben haben!

Ich werde mich sicherlich von unterwegs melden, habe aber garantiert weder die Zeit noch die Möglichkeit, mehrmals täglich in der Ravelry-Gruppe nachzuschauen, Fragen zu beantworten, Kommentare abzugeben. Danke an meine Mit-Moderatorinnen, die im nächsten Monat ganz viel davon übernehmen werden!

I'll certainly try to write during my journey - but even more certainly I wont have time and chance to check my mail and the Ravelry group several times a day to give explanations and comments. Thank you to my co-moderators for taking my part of the work within the next month!

Morgen früh um 5 geht's los, zum Flughafen Düsseldorf.
In den USA werde ich hauptsächlich bei Brigitte Elliott in Silverthorne, Colorado sein. Von dort aus starte ich zu den einzelnen Swing-Knitting(TM) Kursen:

Tomorrow at 5 a.m. I'll start to Dusseldorf Airport.
In the US I'll stay with Brigitte Elliott in Silverthorne, Colorado.
From there I'll start to teach several Swing-Knitting(TM) classes:

Sept 6-8        Swing-Knitting(TM) Live Class in Granby, Colorado
Sept 9           Spring Plumage Live in Granby, Colorado
Sept 13-15    Swing-Knitting(TM) Live Class in Tempe, Arizona - SOLD OUT
Sept 20-22    Swing-Knitting(TM) Live Class in Cheyenne, Wyoming 
Sept 27-29    Swing-Knitting(TM) Live Class in Kent, Washington

Dazwischen liegen noch einige andere Termine, und am 02.10. geht's dann wieder zurück.

Inbetween Brigitte and I have some more appointments, and on October 2nd I'll fly home again.
