Filzereien - Felting

Da trocknen sie jetzt vor sich hin, die beiden neuen Hüte - und das Filzen in der Waschmaschine hat mal wieder hervorragend geklappt!

There they are, drying slowly, the two new hats - and felting in the washing machine worked out fine again!

Der schlichte Hut - den habe ich für meine Mutter gemacht, nach meiner Anleitung Hat Parade.
Das ist Filzhut Nr. 2 aus Ferner Filzmich mit der kleineren Krempe von Hut Nr. 4 in Größe 54 - ganz nach Mutters Wunsch :)!

The plain hat - this one is for my Mom, made by my Hat Parade pattern. It's the felted hat No. 2 made with Ferner Filzmich in size 54 cm, with the smaller brim of hat No. 4 - just as my Mom wants it :)!

Der ist aus Ferner Filzmich kombiniert mit Ferner Crazy Chain und das Projekt zu einer neuen Swing-Anleitung. Beim Hut ist meine Rechnerei schon mal hervorragend aufgegangen - der passende geswingte Schal ist in Planung und Mache! Diesmal alles mit Bogen-Strophen, und wieder als Reihe-für-Reihe-Zählanleitung und als Anleitung für Swing-Stricker!

This one is made of Ferner Filzmich combined with Ferner Crazy Chain. It is the project for a new Swing-Knitting pattern coming soon. The hat worked out as I planned it, and the mnatching scarf is in planning and knitting! I used only bow stanzas for this project, and I'll write the pattern in two ways: as a row-by-row and as a Swing-Knitting pattern.

Das ist eine spannende Zeit - beide Hüte bei 40°C in der Waschmaschine, mit Vollwaschmittel und 8 Tennisbällen - werden die Hüte wirklich so filzen, wie ich das will?

That's always thrilling - both hats are in the washer, at 40°C with normal detergent and 8 tennis balls - will they really felt the way I want it?

Jaaaaa! Auf diese beiden Garne kann man sich echt verlassen! Der Swing-Hut trocknet auf meinem 58er Hutständer, der 54 cm Hut auf dem Puppenkopf - ich mach dann mal mit dem Schal weiter, neben allen anderen Dingen, die so anstehen ...

Yeah! I can really rely on both yarns! The Swing-Knitted hat dries on my 58 cm hat stand, and the 54 cm hat dries on my doll head - now I go on with the matching scarf, besides some other things that are on my to do list ...
