Das "Wohnzimmer zum Umhängen" ist fertig! Gestern habe ich es auf Ravelry eingestellt, heute zeige ich es hier.
Es ist ein Riiiesentuch geworden, genau das Richtige für unseren deutschen Sommer :).
Und es hat einen Riesenspaß gemacht, mal wieder frei zu swingen, ohne auf Lehrbarkeit zu achten und ohne jede Strophe zu beschreiben, Nadelstände aufzuschreiben, Fotos zu machen ....
Ich hab das einfach mal wieder gebraucht, die Entspannung des Swingens selbst zu spüren - und jetzt kann ich auch weiter mit den Buchmodellen und den Kursbausteinen machen, nachdem ich mir meine Portion "Swing" geholt habe!

1037 g Zitron Unisono Farbe 1225 sind darin verstrickt, ein tolles Garn, strickt sich superleicht und gleichmäßig, die Vernetzung mit Jojoba und Aloe Vera-Öl pflegt die Hände beim Stricken, und selbst an den paar warmen Tagen war der Unisono-gestrickte Knubbel auf den Beinen nicht unangenehm warm
Angefangen habe ich das Tuch in Helmstedt - als Birgit ihren Kurs "Doppelte Josephine" gehalten hat, strickten abends alle Doppelstrophen oder Blätter. Das hat mich dann angesteckt!
Gestartet bin ich mit einer Josy in Blättertechnik, wollte aber gleichzeitig direkt experimentell für Kursbaustein 8 werden und Zielnadeln mit einbauen. Und das habe ich dann auch gemacht.
Die Vorderteile sind zwei gegengleiche Josephinen, die sich über Zielnadeln in die Kurve legen. Das Rückenteil als an beiden Seitn wachsendes Dreieck habe ich direkt an beide Vorderteile angestrickt. Dieses Teil bekam zweimal Zielnadeln verpasst - einmal für die asymmetrische Form, einmal für die ausgearbeitete Rundung.
Die Technik sind schwebende Blätter, die durch Lochmusterpausen deutlich abgegrenzt sind, obwohl ich mit einem Garn durchgestrickt habe.

Für den Kursbaustein werde ich das Tuch ganz sicher nicht mit Blättern machen - ich möchte diesmal dann doch unter 100 Seiten bleiben :)!
Und Nadelstände wird es auch keine geben nach jeder Strophe - Nada, ich höre gerade deinen Glücks-Seufzer :)! Dass jede, die an dieses Tuch gehen wird, die Grundtechnik beherrscht, setze ich diesmal einfach mal voraus!
Aber die Technik der schwebenden Strophen und der Form-Zielnadeln werde ich ausführlich erklären!

Meine "Magical Leaves" sind vorne ca 80 cm und hinten gut 100 cm lang und insgesamt gut 160 cm breit - das Tuch für den Kurs wird etwas kleiner, aber immer noch ein guter Jacken-Ersatz!

So, und jetzt mache ich mit Freude Kursbaustein 7 "Phoenix" weiter, da fehlt noch eine große Portion Theorieteil!

My "living room to wrap in" is finished! Yesterday I already showed it on Ravelry, today I'm going to write about it at this place.
"Magical leaves" has become a gigantic wrap - the thing you need for THIS German summer!
It was real fun to swing-knit freely once again without keeping attention for teachability, without taking notes, without describing stanzas or pin positions, without taking photos - just delighting in the relaxation of Swing-Knitting!
I really did need that - enjoying and feeling the Swing and its relaxing fun! 
Now I've got my portion of it, and so I can happily go on with the workshops and the book designs!

1037g Zitron Unisono Col 1225 I have used up for the wrap - a wonderful yarn, knits up lightly and beautifully, the Jojoba and Aloe Vera oils soften your hands while knitting, and even on the few hot days the big Unisono heap on my lap didn't feel unpleasantly hot. 
I began this wrap in Helmstedt -  Birgit taught her course "Doppelte Josephine" there, and in the evening everyone knitted twin stanzas or leaves - and I caught the bug!
So I started my Josy with twin stanza or leaves technique. But I already had in mind to knit experimentally for Workshop 8 and use target pins for shaping. And so I did.
The front parts are two mirror-like Josephines, that go around the curve by using target pins. The back is a triangle that grows at both sides and is knitted to the front parts on the go. The back got target pins twice - once for the asymmetrical form, once for shaping it round. 
The Swing-Knitting technique are floating leaves, visually clearly devided by eyelet pauses though I knitted on with only one yarn. 


For the Workshop I'll certainly NOT do the twin stanza technique - I once want to write less than 100 pages :)!
And there will be no pin positions after each stanza - Nada, I can hear your happy sigh half around the world :)!  Those who will knit this wrap, know their basic Swing-Knitting technique, this I postulate this time!
What I will explain in detail: floating stanzas and target pins for shaping.


My Magival Leaves are about 80 cm long at the front parts and 100 cm at the back part, and about 160 cm wide. The Workshop wrap will become a bit smaller but still will be a proper alternative to a cardigan.


And now I'm going to write on Workshop 7 "Phoenix" with fun - there is still a lot of the theory part missing!
