Ein bisschen Luxus ... A bit of luxury ...

Ich hab sie!!!! Meine erste Karbonz-Rundnadel ist heute angekommen, gekauft bei Knittybitty. Zum Testen habe ich mir eine 80cm Rundnadel in Stärke 3,5 gekauft.
Wie alle KnitPro Nadeln hat sie ein wunderbar weiches und flexibles Seil, der Übergang zur Nadel ist ruckelfrei und glatt. Die Nadel selbst hat ein wunderschönes Platingrau, ist ganz leicht und fühlt sich warm an. Auch beim Stricken in der prallen Sonne wurde sie nicht unangenehm warm.
Die Spitze ist wie bei den KnitPro Nadelspitzen aus Sympathy Holz, könnte für meine Begriffe schlanker und spitzer sein (ich LIEBE Addy Lace Nadeln, vertrage aber leider keine Metallnadeln ....).
 I have got them!!!! My first Karbiónz circular needle has arrived today. I've bought it at Knittybitty. In order to test this new needle, I have bought one 3,5 mm circular 80 cm long. 
Like all KnitPro (KnitPicks) needles, the cable is very soft and flexible, the junction between cable and tip is smooth and unresisting. The tip has a beautiful platin grey and is very light. It feels warm in your hands, and even knitting in the blazing sun didn't change the feeling.
The tip is linke the Sympathy wood tip. For my taste, it could be a bit more slender and pointy - I LOVE Addy Lace but can't stand metal ....

 Beim Stricken ist sie erst etwas stumpf, nach einigen Runden flutschen die Maschen aber prima.
Wie haltbar sie auch in kleineren Größen (erhältlich als Rundnadel in 2,00 bis 3,5 mm, mit Zwischengrößen  2,25, 2,75 und 3,25 mm, als Nadelspiel ab 1 mm erhältlich) ist, kann ich natürlich noch nicht sagen - ich werde es probieren, bei unseren Doppelmaschen muss so eine Nadel ja doch einiges aushalten :)!

When you start to knit, the needle seems to be a bit dull, but some rounds later the stitches move smoothly.
How durable this needle will be I cannot tell yet. You can get circs from 2,0 to 3,5 mm, with the extra sizes 2,25, 2,75, and 3,25 mm. As double points you can get from 1 mm up. I will certainly test the promised durability - our double stitch really challenges a knitting needle :)!

Mein Favorit ist diese Nadel aber (noch) nicht - das sind immer noch die Cubics von KnitPro bzw. die Quattros von Lana Grossa.
Wenn KnitPro die Karbonz aber in eckig rausbringen sollte .......
Ach ja, und das hab ich gerade auf der Nadel - mehr davon morgen oder übermorgen!

Karbonz aren't my favorites (yet) - this position is still held by KnitPro's Cubics and Lana Grossa's Quattros.
But If there will come Karbonz Cubics ........
