Sonnen- und Schatten-Maschenprobe - Sun and Shadow Gauge

Und man lernt immer noch was dazu!
Da habe ich brav eine richtige Maschenprobe für die geswingte Bordüre am Tuch gemacht, abends im Haus, mit Ventilator.
Und dann habe ich bei 30°C in der Sonne gestrickt, mit dem Ergebnis: Es wellt sich!
Trotz diverser Hilfsmittel (Pool, Schüssel mit kaltem Wasser für die Füße, Sonnenschirm, sparsamste Bekleidung) ergibt sich ein Unterschied von fast 3 Maschen auf  10 cm!
Fazit: In der Sonne mit der Nadelstärke runtergehen, man strickt im Heißen wohl wirklich lockerer! Und ich darf jetzt ein bisschen ribbeln und neu stricken .....

Dabei muss ich aber noch ein bisschen von den Garnen schwärmen :).
Die Zitron Noble Art (das dicke Garn) hat eine Lauflänge von 160 m /100 g und besteht zu 100% aus butterweichem, schmusigem 19 Micron Merino ohne künstliche Weichmacher - trotz der Strick-Baumstämme Nadelstärke 7 gut zu stricken! Das Garn wird zum Herbst auf den Markt kommen. Und die Zitron Fil Royal (600 m / 100 g, 100% allerfeinstes Alpaka) ist einfach ein königlicher Hauch von Luxus! Beide Garne stricken sich trotz der hohen Temperaturen wunderbar und stehen schon auf meiner Wunschliste für weitere Modelle :)!
 

There is always something new to learn!
I made a proper gauge for the Swingy border of this wrap, in the evening, inside the house, with the fan running (see photo 1)
And then I knitted in the sun, with 30°C, with the result: I made ruffles! (see photo 2).
In spite of my summer devices (pool, a wash pan of cold water for the feet, parasol, most scanty clothing) there is a difference of almost 3 stitches for 10 cm!

Conclusion: At least 1/2 a needle gauge less when knitting in the sun, you really knit a lot more loosely in the heat! And now I may frog and knit anew ....
But first I have to slobber about the yarns a bit :).
The Zitron Noble Art (the thick yarn) has 160 m / 100 g and is pure softest and smoochy 19 micron Merino wool without artificial softeners - in spite of the trunk for knitting needles ( 7 mm) it knits up very lightly. The yarn will be available coming autumn. And Zitron Fil Royal (600 m / 100 g, 100% finest alpaca) simply is a royal whiff of luxury!
Both yarns knit very well in spite of the high temperatures and have both been added to my wish list for further designs :)!

Und das nennt man wohl Katzenyoga :)!
