Turbulentes Wochenende - Turbulent weekend

Eigentlich sollte das ein ruhiges Wochenende mit entspanntem Stricktreff werden ...... und das Stricktreffen gestern war wirklich sehr schön und entspannend!

Well, it should have been a relaxed weekend with a relaxing Stricktreff   ..... and the Stricktreff yesterday was really wonderful!




 

Und dann waren wir dann am Freitagabend und Samstag notfallmäßig mit Sheila beim Tierarzt wegen einer schweren Gebärmutterentzündung und haben gestern 2 Stunden lang versucht, die Antibiotika-Tablette mit allen Tricks in die Hündin zu bekommen ...... Heute geht's ihr wieder deutlich besser, laut Tierarzt ist sie übern Berg! Und ich bin nur noch am Waschen und Putzen .....

On Friday evening and Saturday we had to visit the emergency vet with Sheila - a very bad pyometra! Yesterday we tried for 2 hours to get the antibiotic pill into the doggie ...... Today she is much better, the vet says she's out of the woods! And I am washing and cleaning .......

Habe dann am Samstag gleich Bijou zum Erst-Checkup und Chippen mitgenommen, die sich von Kiki hat überlisten und einfangen lassen, ansonsten war hier nur beim Wort "Tierarzt" gänzlich katzenfreie Zone :). Dass sie den ganzen Weg gejammert hat, brauche ich glaub ich nicht zu erwähnen .....
Heute durfte Bibi dann mit, die sich von Philipp hat überlisten lassen, Erst-Checkup, Chippen ---- die hat vor lauter Angst dann gleich sich, den Container und dann auch noch den Tierarzttisch eingesaut und geschrieen wie am Spieß .....

On Saturday, I took my chance to take Bijou to the vet as well, to get her first checkup and a microchip - though the word "vet" produced my home to a completely pet-less zone, Kiki was able to catch her in the garden. I need not tell you that she wailed all the way ....
Today Bibi  came with us - Philipp could surprise and outsmart her - first checkup, microchipping ------ she was so afraid that she must leave us that she made a mess of herself, the container and the vet table .... and she screamed all the way to the vet and back ......

Und Nachbarkater Mütze liegt jetzt in Narkose, weil der gestern richtige Erstickungsanfällt hatte und ihm wahrscheinlich irgendwas im Rachen steckt, wo man ohne Narkose nicht rankommt ......
Neighbour tom Mütze is now in narcotic sleep. He had choking fits yesterday and probably something sticks in his throat that cannot be removed without anasthesia .....

 Na dann, für heute schönen Gruß aus dem Lazarett!
