Mein Slandail Kleid ist endlich fertig und trocknet jetzt vor sich hin. Ich bin mal gespannt, wie lange es bei diesem Wetter zum Trocknen braucht ...
Die Idee, das Rockteil einzeln zu machen und dann im Maschenstich anzunähen, war dann doch nicht soooo gut - 360 Maschen Maschenstich in SCHWARZ, mit 2 Tageslichtlampen war das ein kompletter Abend :)!

My Slandail dress finally is finished, and now it is drying. I'm really excited how long it will take to dry in this weather ...
My idea to make the skirt part separately and sew it to the dress body with kitchener stitch, wasn't the best idea, really - 360 stitches in kitchener stitch in BLACK, with two daylight lamps it took me the whole evening :)!

Beim Schal kam er dann heute morgen zum Einsatz - Mr. Froggy!
Ich muss gestern dann doch auf dem Sofa eingeschlafen sein und dabei weitergestrickt haben .... Heute morgen sah ich dann, dass ich vor 3 Strophen wohl eine Doppelmasche hatte fallen gelassen, und das "hübsche" Loch wollte ich dann doch nicht lassen :)!

Warum das Ribbeln "froggen" genannt wird?
Das Geräusch, das so ein Frosch macht, ist "Rivvit, rivvit, rivvit" - klingt so ähnlich wie "rib it, rib it, rib it", und das heißt AUFRIBBELN :)!

He already had his turn this morning, Mr. Froggy!
I must have fallen asleep yesterday, and I must have knitted on .... This morning I saw it - three stanzas below I must have lost a double stitch, and I didn't like the "nice little hole" at all :)!

Why ripping is called frogging?
A frog's talk sounds like "rivvit, rivvit, rivvit", sound very similar to "rib it, rib it rib it" :)!
