Das war spannend, die Workshops in Helmstedt! Leider kann ich euch nur aus
meinen Workshops einige Fotos zeigen - von den anderen Workshops von Silvia und Birgit habe ich leider
nichts mitgekriegt :)! Und Fotos hab ich auch viel zu wenige gemacht .....
Teaching workshops in Helmstedt was so exciting! I can only show you some of the pics I took in my classes, I didn't have the time to go into Brigit's or Silvia's classes :)! And I didn't make a lot of photos myself .....
"Zielnadeln - ein kleines Projekt" war mein erster Workshop.
Auf die fertigen Projekte bin ich echt schon gespannt!
Heute habe ich die Scripts dazu an die Teilnehmerinnen geschickt.
Irgendwann wird es diesen Kurs auch auf Ravelry geben - aber das wird dauern!!!!

Today I sent the class script to my students.
Some time in the future this class will be available on Ravelry as well, but this will last ....
Und dann wurde es richtig voll im Raum!
"Auf die Figur gestrickt" war ein 5-Stunden-Kurs, in dem wir uns gegenseitig erst einmal richtig vermessen haben, um dann entscheiden zu können, wer an welcher Körperstelle ein "Mehr an Stoff" benötigt, und wie man das am besten anstellt!
Da saßen wir alle im Hemde :) - und absolutes Fotoverbot war angesagt!!!!
Diesen Kurs wird es garantiert nicht als PDF geben - aber nächstes Jahr werde ich ihn wieder in Helmstedt anbieten!
Then my room became really crowded!
"Knitting to your figure" was the theme of my second class. In a 5-hours class we took our personal measures. Then we decided who needs a "more of fabric" on which part of her body, and the how-to was part of the class.
We all were there in our underwear - absolute ban on any camera :)!
This class I'll never publish as a PDF, but I'll certainly repeat the workshop next year in Helmstedt!
Mein dritter Workshop lief gleich zweimal, am Samstag abend bis spät in die Nacht :) und noch einmal am Sonntagmorgen. "Das Lied der Handgefärbten" - wie man aus handgefärbten Garnen trotzdem schlönes Swing-Strick machen kann!
My third live class I held twice - on Saturday evening (up to late in the night :)) and on Sunday morning again. "The hand dye tune" - how to make nice Swing-Knitting with hand dyed yarn.
Das hatte eine Menge mit Experimentieren zu tun - aber am Ende hatte jede die Melodie für ihr Garn gefunden!Auf die fertigen Stücke bin ich echt gespannt!
This was a lot about making experiments :)- but in the end everyone had found the melody of her yarn!
I am really excited to see the finished pieces!
Eva's way of using her yarn is an excellent new idea and new inspiration for me as well!

Eines fand ich richtig schade - dass ich nicht genug Zeit hatte, im Aufenthaltsraum zu sitzen, zu stricken und zu klönen! So viele liebe Menschen, die man echt nur einmal im Jahr trifft, für jeden von euch hätte ich gern richtig Zeit gehabt!!!!
Wir haben vorher schon hin und her überlegt - die Pausen zwischen den Workshops konnten wir einfach nicht verlängern, sonst hätten die Workshops nicht in das Zeitraster gepasst.
Also, bitte nicht böse mit mir sein, wenn ich mit einigen von euch so gut wie gar nicht reden konnte - im nächsten Jahr ist dazu hoffentlich etwas mehr Zeit!
Das nächste Helmstedt-Treffen steht nämlich schon fest:

Und weil wir alle die Möglichkeit haben, dann im Kloster zu wohnen, finden wir bestimmt auch zwischendurch mehr Zeit zum Klönen!!!!!!
There was only one thing I didn't like at all - I had much too little time to sit in the lounge, knit and chat with all of you! So may wonderful people I only meet once a year, and I really didn't have the time to chat with all of you!
We made lots of time tables to have more free time between the workshops but we really could not work it out - fitting the workshops into the time table AND having free time :)!
So, please don't be angry with me if I could not talk to some of you at all! Next year we will have more time for chatting!
