Das ist der Wintermond, ein Tuch aus den Buchprojekten. Im Juli werde ich dazu bei der
Wollerey einen Kurs machen, also musste ich das Tuch doch erstmal aus Dagmars wunderschönen Garnen stricken!
This is "Wintermond" (Winter moon), a wrap which is in my new book. In July, I'm going to give a live class about it at the Wollerey. So I just had to knit the wrap with Dagmar's wonderful yarns!
Das Garn ist Carmano, aus 80% Babyalpaka und 20% Maulbeerseide, 150m / 50g.Ich habe 150 g silber und 50 g dunkelblau verarbeitet. Ein traumhaft schönes Garn, dass sich auch mit 4,5mm-Nadeln noch gut stricken lässt und trotz der dicken Nadel ein schönes Strickbild macht!
The yarn is Carmano, made of 80% baby alpaka and 20% mulberry silk, 150 m / 50 g. I used 150 g silver and 50 g dark blue
This is a wonderful yarn which can be knit up to needle size US 7. Even with large needles it still has a beautiful stitch definition.
Ich liebe diese leisen Nuancen im handgefärbten silbergrau!
I love those slight nuances in the hand dyed silver grey!
Der Schnitt des Tuches ist so konstruiert, dass es auf den Schultern liegen bleibt, auch wenn man sich bewegt.
The construction of the wrap is made in a way that it stays on the shoulders even if you move.
Es kann zusätzlich auf dem Rücken gebunden werden und bildet dann einen leichten Bolero, der genau dort wärmt, wo man es benötigt - Schulter und Nacken.
It can be bound on the back as well, then it makes a light bolero that gives warmth where you need it - shoulders and neck.
