Ines sitzt noch am Teststrick für das SunTeaser Tuch (noch nicht veröffentlicht) und strickt schon eifrig Maschenproben für das nächste Teststrick-Projekt, die Tuttifrutti Jacke!

Susanne ist gerade dabei, ihre witzige Granny Square-Tasche fertig zu stellen.

Und sie hat ein wunderschönes Tuch im Mustermix fertig, zu dem ich mir leider die Angaben nicht aufgeschrieben habe :).

Obwohl wir wegen Regenwetter drin sitzen mussten, gab es doch immer wieder sonnige Pausen, in denen wir ganz viele Fotos machen konnten.

Though we had to stay inside because of the rainy weather, there were some sunny minutes to take lots of photos.

Curly Sue fühlte sich im Chaos auf dem Tisch sehr wohl!

Und Bijou war so glücklich, endlich "ihre" Angelika wieder für sich zu haben :)!

Weiter geht's - On we go - Body & Soul

So, das muss jetzt auch endlich mal fertig werden - das Body & Soul Kleid in XL!

I have decided to finally finish it, my Body & Soul dress in size XL!

Und dabei hab ich festgestellt, dass das, was ich anhabe, farblich zu dem passen muss, was ich gerade stricke - mach ich glaub ich schon lange intuitiv so, ist mir aber jetzt erst aufgefallen! Falsche Farbe geht gar nicht :)!

I noticed that I really have to wear something in a matching color when knitting! It hurts when the clothes I wear do not match the colors of the fabric I knit! I suppose I already chose my clothes this way for quite a time, but I really noticed just now!

 

Beim Übersetzen des Sun Teaser bin ich bei 60% - und da geht es auch heute nicht weiter! Die paar schönen Sonnentage, die wir haben, die möchte ich im Garten verbringen und nicht drinnen am Computer :)!

My trqanslation of the Sun Teaser Shawl is at 60% - and today I will not add to it! I want to enjoy the few sunny days we have, sitting in the garden, not being inside at the computer :)!

 

Tuttifrutti Jacke ist fertig! Tuttifrutti Cardigan is finished!

Fertig ist sie, die Jacke, und einen Namen hat sie auch schon - Tuttifrutti!

Hier liegt sie denn gerade zum Trocknen.

It is finished, my cardigan, and it already has a name - Tuttifrutti!

Und jetzt kann ich weuch auch verraten, was ich mit Ines sonst noch so gemacht habe - nämlich Fotos!

And now I can reveal what else I made with Ines - we took a lot of photos!

Die Jacke ist in diversen Strickrichtungen in einem Stück gestrickt - wie groß sie wird, konnte ich daher beim Stricken nur abschätzen :)!

Hier sieht man, dass sie Ines etwas zu groß ist, und bei mir ziemlich eng sitzt - kein Wunder bei einer Rückenbreite von 62 cm!

The cardigan is knitted in one piece in several knitting directions - how large it finally will be I could only estimate when knitting :)!

Here you can see that it is a bit too large for Ines, and for me it is quite small - no wonder for a back width of 62 cms!

 Das heißt jetzt:

1. Ich muss die Anleitung schreiben, nach meinen vielen Seiten Notizen.
2. Aufgrund des ziemlich komplexen, aber logischen Aufbaus, kann die Jacke nur über die Maschenprobe der verwendeten Garne verkleinert bzw. vergrößert werden.
3. Wenn ich die Anleitung geschrieben habe, wird Ines sie mit dünnerem Garn und entsprechend kleinerer Nadel noch einmal stricken - das Garn dafür haben wir schon rausgesucht!
4. Ich werde die Jacke mit dickerem Garn noch einmal stricken.
5. Wenn ich dann die genauen Maße für die 3 Jacken habe - und die ersten groben Fehler in der Anleitung gefunden und korrigiert sind, geht das Teil in den Teststrick.
6. Wenn der Teststrick durch und alle gefundenen Fehler korrigiert sind, geht's an die Übersetzung.
7. Und DANN geht die Anleitung online!

 And now?

1. I have to write the instructions, using a lot of pages of notes.
2. The construction is quite complex, but very logical. It only works to enlargen / make smaller by the gauge of the yarn used.
3. When I have written the pattern, Ines will knit it with yarn with a smaller gauge and a smaller needle - the yarn we have already chosen!
4. I will knit the cardigan again using a thicker yarn.
5. When I have the exact measurements for all 3 cardigans - and the heaviest mistakes in the pattern are already found and corrected, the test knit phase follows.
6. When my test kniters have finished and all the mistakes that were found have been corrected, I'll make the translation.
7. And THEN the pattern will go online!

Da steckt also noch eine Menge Arbeit und Zeit drin, bevor die Anleitung veröffentlicht wird! Auf geht's!



Still a lot of work and time needed before the pattern will be released! Let's start!
