Frühling! - It's Spring!

März-Stricktreff - und wir konnten wirklich den ganzen Tag draußen verbringen!!!!!

Meine Sitzecke zeigte noch vollen Winter, aber mit vereinten Kräften wurde alles schnell saubergemacht, gefegt, rausgetragen - DANKE!!!!

Und dann haben wir genossen - uns, das tolle Wetter, die leckeren Sachen!

My garden corner still showed full winter, but with so many helping hands everything was nice and clean and swept and carried outside in no time - THANK YOU!

And then we just enjoyed - the wonderful company, the beautiful weather, the tasty treats! 

Als erstes muss ich euch Susannes neuen Mantel zeigen, ist der nicht superschick! Und den hat sie selbst genäht!!!

Da muss sie echt aufpassen, dass ich ihr den nicht klaue!


First I have to show you Susanne's new coat, isn't it beautiful! And she has sewn it by herself!!!

She really has to take care of it, else I'll snitch it from her!

Und das ist der Frühlingsschal, an dem sie gerade strickt: Ein Teststrick zum Poppy Scarf von iglinz, die ANleitung gibt es noch nicht.

Der Schal, dessen Anfang sie beim letzten Stricktreff gezeigt hat, ist auch fertig - Crystal Edge von Birgit Freyer.

So viel Garn - So much yarn

Wieder zu Hause, und ich hab dann mal nachgehalten, was ich auf Borkum verarbeitet habe:
ca. 1900 m verstrickt
ca. 1300 m verhäkelt


I'm back home, and I tried to sum up the amount of yarn that I worked up on Borkum:
I have knitted approx. 1900 meters
I have crocheted approx. 1300 meters

Kalt war es, aber sonnig, in den letzten Tagen - und windgeschützt konnte man prima sitzen und stricken und häkeln!

It was cold but sunny for the last days, and sheltered from the wind you could sit outside and knit or crochet!

Mit der Spiraljacke bin ich so weit gekommen, dass ich die einzelnen Teile zusammensetzen und die dazwischen fehlenden Teile stricken kann.

The spiral cardi has grown up to the point where I can assemble the single parts and knit the missing parts inbetween.

Das ist jetzt kein handliches Strickzeug mehr :)!

That's not an easily manegeable knitting any longer :)!

Meine Fadenrinne am Finger hat etwas Unterstützung bekommen müssen :)!

My yarn ditch on my finger has needed a bit of support :)!

Es war ein toller Urlaub!

So schnell komme ich zu Hause nicht weiter mit der Jacke, aber ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden :)!
