Die dreieckige Spirale zum Live-Kurs in Helmstedt 2019 ist fertig - und jetzt versucht sie zu trocknen, ohne allzu viele Regenschauer mitzunehmen ...

My triangular spiral for the live class in Helmstedt 2019 is finished, and now it tries to dry without catching too many rain showers ...

Das war die Anprobe vor dem Abketten - das wird ein schönes Tuch, das auch als Cape getragen werden kann!

Petra tried it on before I cast off - this will become a nice shawl that can be worn as a cape!

Und ich schreib dann mal die Anleitung zu Ende - bis auf die Fertig-Fotos ...

And now I'm going to write the last part of the pattern - then only the FO photos are missing ...

Ich hatte ja gedacht, dass ich über Ostern die letzte Finale-Strophe an meiner dreieckigen Spirale stricken und schreiben würde .... bis ich dann feststellte, dass ich einen dicken Denkfehler in der ersten Finale-Strophe hatte ...
Na klar hätte ich das für mich zurechtfummeln können, aber das ist das Musterstück für den Live-Kurs in Helmstedt "Unendliche Spirale im Dreieck" und muss folglich mit der (korrigierten) Anleitung übereinstimmen! - also habe ich 70 g Sockenwolle geribbelt und 7 Seiten geschriebenen Text gelöscht und stricke und schreibe jetzt erstmal die erste Finale-Strophe neu ...

My plan was to knit and write the last stanza of the finale of my triangular spiral during the Easter days ... until I detected that I had made a huge error in reasoning in the first finale stanza ...
It would have been no problem to fiddle this for me alone, but this is the example of the knit piece for my live class in Helmstedt "Eternal triangular spiral" and really has to follow the (corrected) instructions! - so I frogged about 70 g of fingering yarn and deleted 7 pages of already written instructions, and now I'll knit and write the first finale stanza again ...

 Was bin ich froh, dass ich zur Vorsicht den Nadelstand vor Beginn des Finales aufgeschrieben hatte!
So sind es "nur" ca.  22.400 Maschen, die ich zweimal stricke ... Ohne die Lifeline hätte ich vor vorne anfangen müssen!

I'm so glad I took notes of my pin positions before starting the finale!
So it's "only" about 22,400 stitches to knit twice ... Without the Lifeline I'd have to start all over again! 

Und so will ich die Ostertage verbringen!

And that's how I plan to spend the Easter days!

Stricktreff April 2019

Ausnahmsweise ein Drinnen-Stricktreff :) - sonnig war's zwar, aber leider zu kalt, um draußen zu sitzen!

Too bad we had to sit inside, let's be an exception :) - it was sunny but still much too cold to sit outside!


Brigitta's Spike Weste ist so gut wie fertig!

Brigitta's Spike vest is as good as finished!

Und weil Brigitta sich in der Weste nicht so richtig wohl fühlt und Sabine total begeistert war, hat sie gleich die Besitzerin gewechselt :)!

Brigitta didn't feel comfortable in her vest and Sabine fell in love with it - so Spike changed her owner :)!

 

Sabine zeigt den endlich fertigen und gefilzten Pullover für ihre Thermosflasche.

Sabine showed her finally finished and felted sweater for her thermos.

Monika hat einen Pierre aus ihrem wundervollen neuen und selbstgefärbten Garn gestrickt - das Bfl-Garn bringt die Muster wundervoll zur Geltung und ist kuschelweich.

Monika has knitted a Pierre, using her new and hand-dyed yarn. It is Bfl, very soft and with a wonderful stitch definition. 

Der nächste Pierre ist schon in Arbeit!

Sabine zeigt uns stolz ihr erstes selbstgesponnenes Garn nach Jahrzehnten Spinnrad-Abstinenz - sie will daraus einen Teppich weben.

Sabine proudly shows her first handspun yarn, after decades of spinning wheel-abstinence - she want to weave a carpet for her living room.

Und sie strickt gerade an einem Fair Isle-Band für eine Aktion.

She knits on a Fair Isle piece for an event.

Susanne hat eine wunderschöne gehäkelte Tasche fertig.

Susanne has finished her beautiful crochet bag.

Viele Fotos habe ich diesmal nicht gemacht, aber dafür eine ganze Strophe an meiner dreieckigen Spirale für den Live-Kurs in Helmstedt gestrickt.

I didn't take a lot of photos during this Stricktreff but knitted a complete stanza on my triangular spiral for the Helmstedt live class.

Bijou hat traurig auf ihrem Katzbaum gesessen - "ihre" Angelika war diesmal nicht da :)!

Bijou spent a sad day on her cat tree -"her" Angelika couldn't come this time :)!

Dafür war Suse diesmal mittendrin dabei - über meine beiden "Neuen" erzähle ich euch demnächst mehr!

Instead Suse was right in the middle - more about my two new cats coming soon.

Das war ein Strick-Schlemm-Treff!
Brigitta hatte eine traumhaft leckere Frühstückstorte gemacht, dazu gab's tolle Linsen-Frikadellen und Spinat-Körbchen.

This was a yummy knit feast!
Brigitta had made a delicious breakfast fancy cake, and we ate it with meatballs made of lentils and little spinach baskets.

Ich bin Teil der deutschen Übersetzungs- und Testgruppe - und ich kann euch nur sagen, dass Siol richtig Spaß macht!

Die Anleitung mit vielen Step-Fotos ist auch für Häkel-Anfänger gut zu verstehen, zusätzlich wird es zu jedem Teil ein Video und eine Häkelschrift geben.


I'm part of the German translation and test group - and I can tell you Siol is real fun!

The pattern has lots of step photos so that even beginner crocheters will be able to manage it, additionally there will be a video and a a chart for every part.

Ich habe für meinen Siol die Form ein bisschen abgeändert und beschreibe in meinem (öffentlichen) Ravelry-Projekt alle meine Änderungen genau in Deutsch und Englisch, so dass ihr auch diese Form problemlos häkeln könnt.

I changed the shape of my Siol a bit, and in my (public) Ravelry project I explain all my changes in detail in German and English, so that you can hook this Siol shape without a problem.

Unser Swing-Strick-Treffen 2019 in Helmstedt naht mit Riesenschritten!

Der Prototyp des Bildes für meinen Workshop 1 – „Zaubern mit Zielnadeln“ für fortgeschrittene Swing-Strickerinnen ist fertig – und Petra hat schon eine Beispielfärbung für euch gezaubert!

The Swing-Knitting Meeting 2019 in Helmstedt is already looking around the corner!

The prototype of the picture for my Workshop 1 "Magical target pins" for advanced Swing-Knitters is finished - and Petra already has conjured an example for her hand dyed yarns!

Die Material- und Hausaufgaben-Info für die angemeldeten Kursteilnehmerinnen mit genauen Infos wird so um den 10. April herum verschickt. Wer sich jetzt schon entscheidet, dass Petra ihr die passenden Stränge Sockenwolle dazu färben soll, darf sich gern jetzt schon an Petra unter der Mail-Adresse peti.neumann1@gmail.com wenden.

Besondere Wünsche werden selbstverständlich berücksichtigt – schreibt Petra einfach an!

Ihr erhaltet euer Garn dann rechtzeitig, um es vor dem Workshop zu wickeln und die Hausaufgabe zu stricken!

Ich schreib dann mal weiter am Kurs-Script, das später zu einem neuen Swing-Stricken Kursbaustein werden soll!
