Helmstedt-Vorbereitungen - Preparing for Helmstedt

So, das wäre geschafft :)!
Ich habe mal auf Blog und Ravelry zusammengesucht, was ich zur Modenschau in Helmstedt 2018 beisteuern kann - und gestaunt, denn ich habe doch eine Menge große Teile im letzten Jahr geswingt!

I collected all the swing-knitted pieces from my blog and from my Ravelry that I have knitted during the last year - and I'm quite impressed because it's some large swing-knitted pieces!

The spiral jacket fits from children's size 140 to ladies size 54.

Wollige Ostern gehabt zu haben - I hope you had woolly Easter days

Das waren wundervoll-wollige Ostern!
Ich habe mir zu Ostern die Überraschungstüte von Moni spinnt gegönnt - schaut mal, welche Herrlichkeiten da drin waren!
Da juckt es mich direkt in den Fingern, das Spinnrad anzuwerfen!

That were wonderfully woolly Easter!
I granted myself the surprise bag by Moni spinnt as my personal Easter egg - look at these beauties that where inside!
My fingers itch to start the spinning wheel!

Und zusätzlich hat hier endlich der Frühling Einzug gehalten - mit den wunderbaren handgefärbten Grüntönen der St. Patrick's Day Aktion von Irish Fairytaleyarns!

And finally spring has begun - with the wonderful shades of green hand dyed by Irish Fairytale Yarns, they were offered as a special for St. Patrick's Day!

Und mein Osterkörbchen von Angelika fängt auch an zu blühen - ich freu mich so!

And the Easter basket I got from Angelika starts to bloom - I am so happy!

Dabei war ich aber über die Feiertage ganz brav, na ja fast ganz brav :)!

I was a good girl during the holidays, okay, most of the time :)!

Mein Jacaranda habe ich weiter gehäkelt - das ist jetzt Teil 9 von insgesamt 11 Teilen, und ich bin schon ein bisschen traurig, dass diese wunderbare Häkelabenteuer in 2 Wochen vorbei ist! Und ich kann es kaum fassen, dass ICH dieses wunderschöne Teil gehäkelt habe! Die Anleitung von Iman van der Kraan ist so genial und erklärt so toll, dass sogar ich das hinkriege :)!

I crocheted part 9 of my Jacaranda - it's part 9 of 11, and I'm a bit sad that this wonderful crochet adventure will be over in just 2 more weeks! And I really can hardly believe that it's ME who crochets such a beauty! The pattern by Iman van der Kraan is so good and it explains so well that even I am able to do it :)!

Aber die meiste Zeit habe ich an der Spiraljacke gestrickt - und da die in großer Größe ein Mantel wird, sind das ganz schön viele Maschen :)!
Jetzt muss ich "nur noch" die fehlenden Teilstücke stricken und die komplette Anleitung schreiben ... für den Workshop dazu in Helmstedt 2018!

But most of the time I knitted on the spiral jacket - it will become more of a coat in that large size, and that's lots and lots of stitches :)!
Now I "only" have to add the parts that are still missing and then write all the pattern explanations and instructions ... for the live workshop in Helmstedt 2018!

Das Garn von Klinta-Wolle ist griffig, aber nicht kratzig, und es wird schon beim Stricken weich - wer etwas anderes behauptet, bekommt es mit der Kuschel-Expertin Patty zu tun :)!

The yarn by Klinta-Wolle is grippy but not scratchy and it becomes already soft when you knit it - if you insist on it been harsh you'll get trouble by Patty, my expert for cuddling :)!
