HELMSTEDT - und los!!!! - here we come!!!!

Weil ich morgen den ganzen Tag auf einer Familienfeier unterwegs bin, und weil es Montag morgen schon los geht nach Helmstedt, schreib ich heute noch dazu was!

ICH FREU MICH SO!!!!!!!

Ich freu mich auf die bekannten Gesichter und alten Freunde, und ich freu mich auf die neuen Gesichter und neuen Freunde!

Und ich freu mich auf viele tolle Gesprache und Workshops!

Tomorrow I'll be on a family celebration all day, and on Monday morning we start towards Helmstedt - so I'll write a bit about it today!

I AM SO HAPPY AND SO EXCITED!!!!!

I am so excited to meet old friends and I'm so happy to get to know new friends!
I am looking forward to wonderful talks and workshops!

Berlin Knits

Wollt ihr mal sehen, was ich für mich als Strickzeug mitgenommen habe?????

Are you curious what I'll take with me as my personal knitting?

Nachdem ich bis auf ein Langzeit-Experimentier-Projekt alles UFOs abgearbeitet hatte, habe ich jetzt gleich 3 Projekte neu gestartet, an denen ich je nach Situation stricken kann!

I had finished all my UFOs but for one long-term experimental project, so I just started 3 new projects, for different situations to knit!

Ganz rechts auf dem Foto seht ihr den versprochenen Neustrick von Diamonds and Waves - hier muss ich Masche für Masche zählen, das kann ich nur weiterstricken, wenn ich ganz alleine und noch konzentrationsfähig bin!
Das Garn ist von Orange Sox - 4fädig gefachtes Merino extrafein, traumhaft weich, wunderbar zu stricken, der große Bobbel ist "Black Rainbow", und das schwarz-gelb-melierte "Biene Maja" habe ich mir von Kerstin speziell für das Tuch dazu wickeln lassen!

On the right side of the photo you can see the new knit of Diamonds and Waves that I have promised - as I have to count every stitch, I can only knit on this when I am alone and able to concentrate!
The yarn is made by Orange Sox, a 4 ply merino extrafine, so soft and so easy to knit! The black ball is "Black Rainbow", the smaller one in black and yellow is "Biene Maja", this one Kerstin made especially for me and this shawl!

Der kleine schwarz-blau-grüne Anfang in der Mitte wird eine Sommer-Sanduhr - die kann ich auch zwischendurch im Grundkurs stricken, wenn alles strickt und ich die Klappe halten muss - und ganz ohne was zwischen den Fingern geht das nicht bei mir!
Und DAS kann ich auch im Auto stricken!!!!!
Hier werde ich ein Leinenmischgarn aus dem Stash mit 2 Farben Katia Sun Degrade kombinieren, das ich bei Jawolle dazu gekauft habe.

The small beginning and black-blue-green will become a Sanduhr Tunic for the summer - this one I can knit during the basic class when I have to keep my mouth shut - and I can't be without some stitches between my fingers :)!
This one I can knit in the car as well!!!!!
I will combine the linen mix yarn I had in my stash with 2 colors of  Katia Sun Degrade that I bought at Jawolle for this tunic.

 
Das lila-bunte ganz links wird eine sommerliche Version vom Polaris-Tuch, mein eigener Teststrick zu meinen mitgeschriebenen Maschenzahlen, bevor ich diese Anleitung dann schreiben und in den Test geben kann.
Das Garn ist uni Leinen und handgefärbtes Leinen von LitYarn, kombiniert mit 2 bzw. 1 Faden Venne Colcoton, das ich bei Birgit gekauft habe.
Hier muss ich auch nur zwischendurch kontrollieren, ob meine Maschenzahlen noch passen - ich brauche dafür aber einen ruhigen Platz, auf dem ich die Konen und Könchen nicht verheddere :)!

The lilac and muticolored one to the left will become a summer version of the Polaris shawl, it will be my own test knit to the stitch numbers I wrote down. If I get the same stitch numbers with this shawl, I can write the pattern and then give it to my test knitters.
The yarn is solid linen and hand dyed linen made by LitYarn, combined with 2 resp. 1 ply of Venne Colcoton that I bought at Birgit.
Here I only have to control whether my stitch numbers fit - I only need a quite place for this where I can stay and keep the different yarns untangled :)!

Ich bin dann mal weg und erst in gut 2 Wochen wieder zu Hause!
Zwischen Helmstedt und Berlin besuchen wir eine sehr gute Freundin, darauf freue ich mich auch sehr!

Ich werde 2 Wochen lang kaum online sein!!!

Ich werde meine Mails und Ravelry und Facebook in dieser Zeit immer nur mal zwischendurch abfragen - und eine Antwort kann dann auch mal länger auf sich warten lassen!!!!!

I'll be gone for a good 2 weeks!
Between the Helmstedt event and the Berlin event we will visit a very good friend, and I am looking forward to spending some time with her!

I will be online very rarely for about 2 weeks!!!

I will look into my inboxes and Ravelry and Facebook only from time to time - and an answer to a question can last a few days!!!!!
