Wickelwetter - Weather for winding yarn

Hurra !

Hurra! it's not raining at the moment, so I can prepare the yarn for my next project!

My spiral "only" misses 2 sides of multi-stitch high-diligence knitting - and those I'll finish before I start a new knit!

Did I already show you my new wool winder?
It's a wooden beauty, handmade by Ylle yllepal@gmail.com, and now the two of us are going to learn how to work together.
The first balls didn't become very beautifu - but now I've got it, I hope!

Harry had tried the new wool winder when I was in Potsdam - and he really succeeded of winding a 300 g / 1200 meter beautiful ball!

Do you want to know what yarn this is?
Drachenwolle, Drachenzauber lace with 500 m / 100g, perfectly twined - and hand dyed by Christiane Schelling in a new technique that she has invented - as a long gradient, without knitting up the yarn before dyeing it!
You can find a lot more wonderful colors in the kits!

I'll combine the lovely gradients with hand dyed semi solids - the flower or fire colors will become combined with the dark purple "color "Edinburgh"), and the fruity lemon will get a semi solid teal called "Hardangerfjord" - as soon as it arrives, I'll wind it into balls!

Was das wird? Lasst euch überraschen!

What I'll knit with those yarns? Stay tuned!
