Meine Weihnachtstage - My Christmas Days

Ja, ich habe meinen ersten Faser-Adventskalender angesponnen!
Wunderbare handgefärbte Merino-Seidenfasern von Stefiswolle - jeden Tag 10 g in einem Tütchen verpackt!
Ich habe die Farbvariante "kalt" gewählt - und mich jeden Tag auf die nächste kommende Farbe des durchgehenden Farbverlaufs gefreut!

Yes, I have spun the first part of my fiber Advent calender!
Beuatiful hand dyed merino silk fivers by Stefiswolle - and every day I enjoyed the next color of the continuous color flow!

Meinen Faser-Adventskalender wollte ich euch schon lange zeigen - aber immer, wenn ich ihn fotografieren wollte, sah er so aus :)!

I wanted to show you my fiber calender for quite a time - but every time I wanted to take a photo, it looked like this :)!

Also habe ich jeden Tag nur meinen Abschnitt bewundert und dann wieder in das nummerierte Tütchen getan, um das Katertier nicht zu ärgern :).

So I just admired my daily part and then put it back into the little paper bag, I didn't want to make my tomcat angry :).

 

Als ich dann Heiligabend alle Stücke hintereinander legen und mit Spinnen anfangen wollte, musste ich dann leider fetstellen, dass die Nummern auf den Tütchen Tommy wohl gestört hatten - von der Hälfte der Tütchen hatte er die Nummern nämlich abgemacht! Also habe ich das Band nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen so zusammengestellt, wie es mir am besten gefiel :)!

When I tried to join all pieces of the color flow on Dec 24th and then wanted to start spinning, I had a little surprise - the number tags on the paper bags must have annoyed my Tommy, so he had removed them on half the bags! So I tried to reconstruct thesequence as best as I could :)!

Die erste Spule ist voll! 140 g traumhaft schöner Farbverlauf!

The first spool is full! 140 g most beautiful color flow!

Auf die letzten 9 Abschnitte freue ich mich schon! Die werde ich heute und morgen verspinnen! I'm so excited about the last 9 portions! I hope I can spin them today and tomorrow!

Verzwirnen werde ich den Farbverlauf mit einer sehr dünnen unifarbenen Seide - und dann bin ich mal gespannt, welche Lauflänge ich erreicht habe und wie gleichmäßig das Garn dann aussieht!

I'll ply the color flow with a solid  very thin silk - and I'm so excited how long my spun yarn will be and how consistent it will look like!

Gestrickt habe ich natürlich auch an den Feiertagen - der Hauptteil meiner Tunika ist fast fertig!                                        And I have knitted during these holidays - the body of my tunic is nearly finished!

Beim Dibadu-Weihnachts-KAL habe ich Teil 2 fertig bekommen und stricke jetzt an Teil 3                                                                                  I finished part 2 of the Dibadu Advent KAL and now knit on part 3

Und der Spirits of Life CAL ist endlich trocken, so dass ich den Abschlussrand häkeln kann.          And the Spirits of Life CAL has finally dried so that I can crochet the border.

Nur der arme Tommy ist unglücklich - jetzt muss er auf meinem leeren Adventskalender schlafen, wo er doch nur 3 flauschige Körbchen hat :)!

Just poor Tommy is very unhappy - he now has to sleep on my emptied Advents Calenders, poor boy only has 3 fluffy cat beds :)!
